Psychotherapy is a process undertaken by yourself and a skilled therapist in order to learn more about yourself, to expand your capacity to manage and understand emotions, and to grow and change according to your goals.

Laurie is a Master’s Level student currently studying at Yorkville University. She also holds a Master’s in Psychopedagogy and Teacher’s Certificate from the University of Ottawa, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in French from Wilfrid Laurier University.

She is interested in attachment, Solutions-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and is interested in trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approaches.

She is also interested in focusing on members of the LGBTQ+ community, as well as neurodivergent clients, as well as clients with anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, attachment distress, and low self-worth.
